Sofas, mattresses, rugs, drapes and clothing cleaned after smoke, soot or water, with honest advice on what to keep.
Upholstery and fabrics absorb smoke and water, and they hold onto odor. Cleaning them correctly depends on the fiber, the dye and the type of damage.
We test fabrics, then choose steam, dry cleaning, immersion cleaning or specialty methods. Furniture that can be cleaned is returned fresh. Items that cannot be saved are documented, so you have what you need for a claim. Textiles are sensitive to heat, moisture and chemistry, so we begin by identifying the fiber, checking colorfastness and reading any care tags. Upholstery may be cleaned in place or taken to our facility. Rugs, drapes and clothing are cleaned in batches, with delicate or valuable pieces handled separately, and everything is checked for odor before it is returned to you. Pieces that are too far gone are photographed and listed so that you have what you need for a claim, and we tell you honestly when replacement makes more sense than another round of cleaning.
Dyes bleed and fibers shrink. Testing on a hidden spot avoids ruined pieces.
Smoke bonds to fibers. Treatment may include specialized cleaners and deodorizing chambers.
Furniture soaked in clean water may be dried and cleaned. Contaminated water means soft items are usually discarded.
Fabric protectors and quick spill response keep upholstery cleaner. Rotate cushions to even wear.
