A check that confirms the work area is dry, clean and ready for repairs, using inspection, moisture readings and sampling where appropriate.
After mold work, how do you know it is done? Post-remediation verification is a structured check that answers that question. It confirms the source of moisture is fixed, the area is clean and dry and the space is ready to be closed up and rebuilt.
We perform a visual inspection, take moisture readings and, when appropriate, arrange air or surface sampling. For a truly neutral result, many owners and insurers prefer an independent assessor who did not do the remediation, and we welcome that choice and work with the assessor.
A clean, dry surface with no visible growth, odor or dust is the first sign of success. We inspect every part of the containment before it comes down.
Materials should be at normal dry levels. Wet materials in a repaired area will grow mold again.
A neutral third party gives the most credible result. We cooperate fully, and we provide our work records and photographs.
Keep your verification records. They are useful if you sell the home or ever need to show the work was done properly.
