FAQ

Getting started

Is the estimate really free?

Yes. Estimates are free and come with no obligation. You approve the scope and price before any non-emergency work begins.

What areas do you serve?

Nashville and communities across Middle Tennessee, including Franklin, Brentwood, Murfreesboro, Hendersonville, Mt. Juliet and more. See the service areas page for the full list.

Do you work for homeowners, landlords and businesses?

All three. We work for homeowners, landlords, property managers, HOAs and commercial owners.

What kinds of losses do you handle?

Water, flood, sewage, fire, smoke, mold, storm damage, biohazard cleanup, contents and rebuild. Call and we will tell you what we can do.

FAQ

Water damage

How fast do I need to call after water damage?

As soon as you can. Mold can start in a day or two, and drywall and floors weaken the longer they stay wet.

Can wet carpet and hardwood be saved?

Often, if the water was clean and drying starts quickly. Contaminated water usually means porous materials are replaced.

How long does drying take?

Many jobs dry in three to five days. Thicker materials take longer. We keep moisture readings until the structure is dry.

What should I do first when a pipe bursts?

Shut off the main water valve, stay away from standing water near electrical items and call us.

FAQ

Fire and smoke

What should I do after a house fire?

Wait for the fire department to say it is safe, then call us. Do not wipe soot or run the HVAC.

Can smoke smell be removed?

Yes, with cleaning of the source, air treatment and sealing where needed. Air fresheners only mask it.

Can my belongings be cleaned?

Many can. We sort what can be restored, what should be replaced and what to document.

FAQ

Mold

Is mold dangerous?

Heavy growth should be taken seriously, especially for children, older adults and people with asthma. Fix the moisture and remove the mold.

Do I need mold testing?

Not always. Testing helps when the source is unclear or to verify cleanup. A moisture inspection is often the best first step.

Why does mold come back?

Because the moisture is still there. We help find leaks, humidity and ventilation problems.

FAQ

Insurance and cost

Will insurance cover restoration?

Often, for covered losses. Coverage depends on your policy and the cause. We document everything for you to share.

Do you work with insurance adjusters?

Yes, with your permission. We share photos, logs and estimates and answer questions about the work.

How is the cost determined?

By the size of the loss, the type of damage, equipment and days on site and what must be rebuilt. Our cost guide explains it.

FAQ

Aftercare and rebuild

Can you do the rebuild too?

Yes. We coordinate drywall, flooring, paint and finish work so you have one team from cleanup to completion.

Do you give a summary of the work?

Yes. Every job ends with a walk-through and a record of what was done.

How do I prevent another loss?

Our prevention checklist covers gutters, roofs, plumbing, appliances and humidity. We are happy to advise.
