A living room after a water loss with air movers and a dehumidifier drying the carpet in warm lamp light
How we work

Six steps from first call to final walk-through.

A clear, unhurried process that keeps you informed and in control.

The journey

What happens, and when.

  1. A smartphone on a vehicle dashboard with a blank screen and a suburban house visible through the windshield at dusk
    01

    Call us

Tell us what happened and send photos if you can. We guide you on safety and plan the visit.

  2. A moisture meter and a thermal imaging camera resting on a baseboard in front of a damp drywall wall
    02

    Assess and plan

We find the source, map the damage with meters and thermal imaging and explain the plan.

  3. A water extraction wand and wet vacuum hose on a soaked carpet in a bedroom
    03

    Stop the damage

Water extraction, board-up, tarping and removal of materials that cannot be saved.

  4. Several air movers arranged along the walls of a room with a dehumidifier in the center drying a hardwood floor
    04

    Dry and clean

Air movers, dehumidifiers and careful cleaning, with containment for fire and mold work.

  5. A blank estimate pad and a pen on a clean table beside a moisture meter and a coil of hose
    05

    Monitor daily

Moisture readings and equipment adjustments until the structure is dry.

  6. A finished restored bedroom with fresh paint, new carpet and a made bed in soft morning light
    06

    Rebuild and finish

Repairs, paint and a final walk-through, with records you can keep.

Timing

How long does it take?

How long does a typical job take?

A small clean-water dry-out can take a few days. Fire, mold and larger water losses take longer, and rebuilds are measured in weeks. We give you a time estimate before we start.

Do I need to be home?

It helps to be there at the start and the end, and we keep you posted during the work by phone or message. Please keep children and pets away from drying equipment and work areas.

What should I do before you arrive?

Take photographs, move valuables, medicine and papers if it is safe, tell us about gates, pets and alarms and avoid wet electrical items. We take care of the rest.
